Alpine's DVA-9860 DVD/CD player forms an excellent foundation for any budding mobile video system. It plays a variety of formats, houses a built-in amplifier that'll make your music sound great, includes an excellent AM/FM tuner, and offers plenty of connections for expanding your system.
To take advantage of DVD video playback, you'll need to connect an external monitor to the video output. The '9860 will also play your standard CDs, plus the MP3 and WMA files you've burned on disc.
