The VDR-3000 is a standalone unit that you can use to record digital or analog video and audio onto a CD (CD-R, CD-RW) in Real-time without connection to PC. A standard 650MB CD-R, CD-R/W disc can hold up to 73 minutes video in VCD format or 37 minutes in S-VCD or 18 minutes DVD formats. Up to 98 tracks (videos or photos) can be recorded in one CD Disc, tracks can be played in any sequence and can contain video, audio or still images.
Features Composite, S-Video or stereo audio inputs & outputs, component Y:U:V video output and S/P DIF direct digital audio input with IEEE-1394 / i-Link DV input for DV Camcorder, PC and Mac for direct recording onto CD-R with DVD quality.
The VDR-3000 can be used to deliver quality music, videos, movies, home videos, and still image slide shows and product catalogs. It could also be used in a commercial audio/video presentation disc promotional application, as a very low cost CD-R disc solution.

- Full size panel, it is easy to use as a regular VCR.
- Low cost solution for video disc creation, one 650MB CD-R disc can record up to 98 images DVD-Photo, 74 minutes VCD or 37 minutes S-VCD, HQ-VCD or 18 minutes of DVD quality video in CD-DVD format.
- Built-in "Color Processor" and "Sharpness Control" for composite and S-video sources, which can correct signal loss from old video tapes.
- Supports component Y.U.V. or R.G.B output signals for higher quality signal.
- Built-in DV input to convert your high quality DV tapes onto a CD-R disc with DVD video quality for copies that will not degrade over time.
- Two microphone input jacks with volume controls for video presentations.
