The LEICA CM ZOOM is made in Germany with the exclusive use of high-grade materials that lead to incomparable longevity and dependability. The body is made of titanium, which makes vigorous use possible even under the harshest conditions. The lens consists of 7 elements in 6 groups.
The lens on the LEICA CM ZOOM, the LEICA VARIO-ELMAR f/3.5-6.5 / 35 - 70 mm is based on the lens of the Leica Minilux Zoom and it has achieved such a high level of quality that further improvement is practically impossible. Also unexcelled is the manual operation of the camera: the exact and quick setting ofthe desired focal length directly at the lens as well as the very precise mechanism of the lens mount give the LEICA CM ZOOM that special Leica "feel", along with an extraordinary photographic experience.

- Larger, brighter viewfinder with diopter compensation, near-focusing range marking and a new a new positioning on the camera.
