This exquisite camera with a titanium finish and a color-coordinated snake leather covering has numerous automatic functions that not only make it user-friendly but that also provide ample creative possibilities. The leather comes from the Karun snake, a species that is not on the endangered list. The front and the back of this camera are partially covered with this leather.
The suffix DB for this model stands for Databack, which provides the option of imprinting date and time on the photographs.
This is a high-quality compact 35 mm rangefinder camera in a beautifully designed titanium body with a high-speed LEICA SUMMARIT f/2.4/40 mm lens. The lens delivers excellent contrast and detail rendition at full aperture even in poor light conditions. The perfect tool for quick snapshots using automatic program (P) or individual picture composition using aperture priority automatic. Both automatic systems function with autofocus (AF) or manual focusing (MF).
