This new super-quiet telephoto lens features Nikon's unique Silent Wave Motor technology which converts "traveling waves" into rotational energy to focus the optics. Also features a newly designed optical system, using Nikon's performance-proven Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass. Lens's fully automatic diaphragm incorporates more blades, making out-of-focus portions of the image appear more pleasing. Distance Signal technology provides focused-distance information. Designed for maximum autofocus performance with the F5, F4, F100, N90s, N80 and N70, Pronea 6i.









NOTE: AF-S lenses, while able to manually focus with all Nikon F-mount cameras, will autofocus ONLY with the following cameras- N65, N70/F70, N80/F80, N90s/F90x, F4, F4s, F5, F100, D1 & D1x.
