Nikon's 5.1 Megapixel Coolpix 5400 Digital Camera offers a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. Its 4X Optical Zoom-Nikkor lens with ED glass allows the Coolpix 5400 to deliver superior image quality while supporting print sizes up to 16” x 20”. Frame subjects using the Vari-angle LCD monitor, and use the Ultra Macro mode to focus on subjects as close as 0.4”. Use Movie Mode for recording movies (with sound!) up to 3 minutes in length and or make a Time Lapse movie. These features, along with Continuous Shooting at 3 frames/second for up to 7 full size frames, and both Rear Curtain Sync and Repeating Flash functions help the Coolpix 5400 turn digital photography into art.

Features:

  • 5.1 effective Megapixel CCD capturing high quality images at a maximum resolution of 2,592 x 1,944.

  • Ultra Macro Mode. Record images at less than 1/2 of 1 inch. As close as 0.4 inches.
  • Auto Exposure Best Shot Selector (AE-BSS). The Coolpix 5400 will automatically select the image with the best relative exposure from a series of 5 consecutive shots by analyzing tonal range and gradation of each image.
