Panasonic's CX-D3000U stand-alone DVD player offers big performance in a very small package, combining a floating suspension and anti-shock memory to deliver reliable DVD playback (video monitor required). This compact DVD deck also plays your pre-recorded CDs, home-recorded CD-Rs and CD-RWs, and your MP3-encoded recordable discs. (Record up to 10 hours of MP3 music on a single CD-R or CD-RW, and you can bring a CD changer's worth of tunes along on one disc!)
A set of audio/video outputs connects the CX-D3000U to your entertainment system — or use the optical digital output to link to an optional surround sound processor. You can mount this deck in any remote location in your vehicle; it'll also fit in the second 2" tall opening in many Japanese vehicles (custom installation required).
