A stylish, compact, 1.3 megapixel digital camera with 2X Digital Zoom at a family-friendly price
The V3315 is an affordable choice for anyone seeking an easy-to-use digital camera with digital zoom. The stylish V3315 is equipped with a 1.3 mega pixel CMOS image sensor. The simplicity of the fixed focus lens is complemented with 2X digital zoom capability. Images may be reviewed on the 1.6 color TFT-type LCD display. In addition to capturing digital still images, the V3315 can also record short video clips up to sixty-seconds in duration.
The V3315 offers imaging versatility. Users may select from two resolutions and three quality settings for their images. Resolution modes include 1280 x 1024 and 640 x 480 - ideal for email and web applications. The V3315 features automatic shooting mode with the ability to specify any one of four white balance settings, and adjust exposure compensation. The V3315 produces images that are ready for display or print. Images captured at full resolution yield outstanding 5 x 7 prints.
Whereas the maximum resolution of JPEG still images is 1280 x 1024, motion JPEG clips are captured at 320 x 240 in AVI format. The V3315 also supports common standards for ease of printing with a compatible printer or at a digital kiosk. The V3315 comes equipped with 8 MB internal memory that can be extended using optional Secure Digital memory cards.
Other features include fixed focus operation, automatic white balance, exposure compensation control, built-in four-mode flash, and a 10-second self-timer. The built-in flash includes a red-eye reduction mode. The V3315 comes with both USB and video output cables to download images for viewing and/or editing.
Windows Me, 2000, and XP users will enjoy native support for the V3315. Simply connect the V3315 to your Me/200/XP PC and access your images immediately no drivers or software are required for basic functionality. Mac users with OS 9 and higher will also enjoy the same trouble-free USB connectivity. PC users can enjoy the additional web-cam function where the V3315 can provide live video for use in videoconferencing, or video capture. The V3315 multi-lingual camera interface menus are available in eight languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. 2 AA alkaline batteries supply power whereas built-in power saving logic automatically turns-off the camera to conserve battery power.
